Let’s not kid ourselves, we listen to music for originality, to find things that we have never heard before. “We Want War” ticks all those boxes. Mind = Blown.

So last night I indulged my inner night-owl by staying up to watch the Hope For Haiti benefit. The circumstances that bring about these type of programs are tragic, but charity events are a rare reminder of how people can come together to champion a cause.

We have an innate obsession with the past and HURTS capitalise on that. “Wonderful Life” is a perfect slice of pop music, fully realised in the way that their image, videos and general brand has been built up from nowhere. They may only just have arrived, but Hurts know exactly what they are doing.
